APRUTIUM

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

T his wine's strength and character are typical of this grape variety. Deep red in colour with slight orange nuances, it boasts an intense and lingering bouquet with spiced notes of vanilla, cinnamon and licorice. It is wonderfully toasty on the palate with an excellent structure and just the right amount of tannin. Wonderful with hearty appetizers like aged salami and ripe cheeses. It brings life to pasta dishes with meat sauces, mushrooms and truffles and pairs beautifully with main courses of either red meats or wild fowl.
